Inspired by the spirit of the season, this display has been created as a holiday greeting card.

The photo from pixabay was brought into camera raw and enhanced using several of the adjustment tools.

Once in photoshop, the crop tool was utilized to expand the photo followed by content aware fill, which was used to fill the sky with more fog. This left room to copy the layer of trees and select and mask a circle shape of trees. The selected cirle was transformed vertically to display a mirroring orb of trees a top the card. 

Line tool was used and adjusted in size to create unique lines across the top.

To bring out the text ("Season's Greetings"), a rectangle tool was used along with the type tool. Opacity of the rectangle was lowered to allow the underlaying photo to still show through.

The use of alignment, proximity, contrast and repetition are abundant throughout this card. The alignment of the text across the bottom, the repetition of the trees in the orb, the contrast of the mirroring trees, and the spacing of the orb in the sky all work together to achieve a great holiday greetings card.
