This poster was designed with a focus on alignment, color, contrast and creativity. 

The pictures from unsplash.com were initially brought into Camera Raw to provide general enhancements. Following the run through Camera Raw, each picture was layered into photoshop.

The photo of the boy with a balloon was brought to the front and he was selected and masked. The placement in the midst of space gives the illusion of the balloon carrying him off to space and adds some level of contrast to the overall display, 

To add meaning to the photo a text box was added with the words "Ascend." The text was aligned under the boy and across the seam where the sky meets outer-space. A font color of yellow tied to the boys jacket and blended into the yellow tints in the background.

Vertical lines were created to contrast the lines running horizontally along the bottom of the display. The yellow color again, related them back to the boy in the jacket.
