This display is designed as a TV announcement for campus students.

Starting with a stock photo from pixabay, I adjusted for the contrast and color. I then desaturated and inverted the image, changed the blending mode to "Color Dodge," and adjusted the blur of the photo to create and image that resembles a sketch. 

After saving the image, the content aware fill tool was used to expand the foliage across the bottom of the design. 

The placement of the text was aligned in the spacing above the foliage and next to the top of Old Main to create a clear frame for the message. In order to enhance the text I added grey boxes and lowered the opacity to better blend in with the photo. 

Text was right adjusted to align itself and create a flow from top to bottom.
